Hey! :)
I’m Kacie, a documentary style photographer who believes that beauty isn’t something you create, it’s something you notice. I’m a bit obsessed with what happens in the quiet corners of life. The windswept hair. A hand squeeze or side glances. The untied boots. The way golden light hits someone when they don’t even know it’s happening. My background isn’t in fashion shoots or staged perfection, it’s rooted in observation. In storytelling. In slowing down enough to notice what most people rush past.
My style leans heavily into photojournalism and artistic candids. Less about posing and more about presence. It’s not about perfection, it’s about trueness. Whether its two people in love, a solo hike through misty trees, or a small, unspoken moment between friends. I’m inspired by authenticity, realness, and soft, playful moments. The stories we tell without saying a word. I photograph because I want to help people see not just what happened, but how it felt.
Whether we’re exploring the coast or documenting a backyard elopement, I’m here to create images that feel like a deep breath. True to you. Timeless in the softest way.
If you are reading this, I just wanted to thank you again for taking time out of your day to come check out my website. Just coming here means a lot.
Photography is something that I have been in love with since I was a little kid. My sister and I used to do lil' photo shoots in our house and create movies. We would get all dressed up like models, put some crazy makeup on, and spend the whole day taking photos.
In high school, I begged my friends to let me take photos of them. I would drive us all around town searching for the perfect location for awesome photos. We'd stop anywhere from green parks for that 'natural' look, all the way to graffiti walls for more of a 'grunge' look. I didn't care what style we went for, I just wanted to be out shooting. It was how I tried to spend my days.
I took two years of photography classes in high school, and from then on I have been researching, reading, and practicing the art of photography in hopes of getting my art to the public. I am still struggling to find that 'perfect style' that really connects with my heart. I just genuinely love to shoot.
